We headed back to Punta Arenas today. In the morning we chased around a tire shop which was very difficult on a Sunday in Chile. We eventually found one that was a guy´s house with a huge pile of tiles in the front yard. It was called El Gringo, so we figured we came to the right place! All of us were looking forward to ditching the rental car after a dead battery, flat tire, and constant shaking from the wind driving everywhere.
at night we had drinks with a bunch of antartica sailors who shared stories from the high seas
trying to jump start it going down the hill
El GRINGO!

Hi Nathan,
Dad and I laughed at this picture and the ones preceeding. It looked like quite the trip! Thanks for sharing. It has been fun to follow your travels.
Love, Mom
Did they have far it was to Churchill, Cananda on this sign?
