Puerto Natales-day 5

We drove from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales. Our van was pretty old so it constantly shaked the whole way there. The landscape was gorgeous. At first the drive was flat, but Puerto Natales was mountainous.

Driving to Puerto Natales...

View from our worksite in Puerto Natales. We installed the magnetometer at Universidad of Magallanes. It is a very small university for about 50 students.

This afternoon we are planning on going to the world famous park, Torres del Paine. Tourists from around the world come here to see the glaciers, waterfalls, and mountains. We´re hoping the rain lets up so we make the trip up there.
